Who am I?

My name is Nate, I’m 20 years old and the creator of h7lyx.
I’m a graduate in IT and now I’m studying graphic design.
I’m located in The Netherlands, where I was born and raised.

Media design, whether it be designing a menu card, creating a UI for a site,
or creating a twitch overlay for a friend, it has always been a hobby of mine.
I finally expanded upon that by going to college for it.
And then eventually I made a website to show-off my work.

Artwork

My passion projects, also called “Core Projects” feature artwork by others.
This isn’t a secret and I proudly show off the original creators.

Projects with my own artwork are coming very slowly.
I actually have a project finalized with my own artwork.
The harsh truth is that I am extremely perfectionistic.
I can’t bring myself to release a project I am not ecstatic about.
I’m still learning to draw, sadly my art is currently insufficient.
Until then I’ll show off other creator’s their artwork (with permission).

Artificial Intelligence

This is a hot topic but I stand with artists and against theft.
Traditional and digital art are both extremely accessible and affordable.

AI has great capabilities in terms of being used as a tool.
I use gemini for research in order to save time.
However generating “artwork” with AI I don’t support at all.
Learning art takes a long time and even more time to master.
I won’t use generative AI and will stand my ground on being against it.
